- What's
Hyper64? -
Hyper64 is a free open source (GNU
Public License) graphics library gives you access to routines
that are not available in API's like directx or opengl, and at
the same time, creates a interface layer that works directly
with directx and the winapi to make it easy for you to create
applications.
It's not only available for
Delphi, ports were made for Visual C++, Visual
Basic and Free Pascal (w32 targets), in a DLL form.
It's a very flexible tool, i think you'll find it useful for
any kind of graphical applications, here's the current
list of features:
- DirectDraw support
Hyper64 should work on Win95, Win98/WinME and
WinNT/Win2k.
- Gives access to fast primitives that aren't available in
DirectDraw like Lines, Circles, Ellipses, Rects,
Cubic Bezier Lines, Pixels, etc...
- Multiple rendering Windows support using your existing
windows (like Forms) or other objects (like Panels) that
are defined as HWnd.
- Window and Full Screen display.
- Totally independent Full Screen mode,
just leave the WinAPI stuff to Hyper64.
- Installed Windows TTF fonts support.
- Easier Input handling via DirectInput, you have
access to Mouse, Keyboard and Joystick.
- File system similar to PAK, you can pack all your
files in a single compressed file.
- Advanced Buffer system.
- Load images froms Streams, Resources or Files.
- System and Video memory for buffers.
- Hardware acceleration when using Video memory buffers.
- VERY Easy interface.
- VERY Fast routines.
- High precision timers.
- Sprites and Alpha Channels.
- Clipping in all functions.
- Scaling, Rotating, Blur, Negative, Greyscale, Xor
and Mirroring effects.
- Blending:
- Alpha
- Alpha Channel
- Additive/Saturated
- Subtractive/Difference
- Image Loading: BMP, JPG, PNG;
- Image Saving: BMP, JPG, PNG;
- Sound: MOD, S3M, XM, IT, MID, RMI, SGT,
RAW, WAV, MP2, MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF
- Video: AVI, MPG, ASF
- Etc...
And a lot more!
- Who's
behind all this? -
Currently only me, Diogo Teixeira,
i'm 19 years old, my favorite hobbies are hanging out
with my friends and enjoy nature,
when I'm not coding of course :)
My friends call me FoZi, I wonder why... enough about me!
Here's some of my friends, these are the current credits:
